Hope for Tomorrow:
A Child and Teen Suicide Prevention Summit
This will be a one-day family summit and resource fair hosted at Miami Dade College to address the crisis of child and teen suicides that has seen an alarming uptick in the past few years, unfortunately as one of the leading causes of death in this age range.
This will be an inclusive free event featuring age-appropriate discourse led by qualified professionals, as well as, activities for children and teens, aged 6-19 years, along with their parents or guardians.
A wealth of information and resources will be shared to raise awareness, encourage dialogue, address warning signs, and appropriate actions surrounding the difficult topic of suicide. While tackling such a serious subject matter, this will also be a day of fun activities, games, free giveaways, great food, and fellowship.
