The Pickleball House Miami’s event at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami was a big success for the Foundation, with dozens of attendees and VIPs drawing attention to the organizers goals of building a network of like minded and active philanthropists through recreational pickleball. The event, organized by Drew Danzeisen, aimed to build a network of like-minded philanthropists through recreational pickleball.
The one-day tournament and networking event was scheduled during the highly anticipated Formula 1 race week and offered newbies and pickleball heads from around Miami a chance to meet. The attendees also took part in a silent auction held by the Udonis Haslem Foundation which featured exclusive items such as signed memorabilia, and one of a kind items from Udonis’ personal collection.
The Pickleball House Miami was organized by former student athlete and pickleball fan Drew Danzeisen, who had more events in the works around the US. The first one happened during the Super Bowl weekend in Arizona.
Pickleball House Miami partnered with Dicks Sporting Goods, Clean Miami Beach and our Foundation, because of our mission to empower youth through sports with a focus on mental health.
